Farm info

Reinaldo Garcia dos Santos comes from generations of farmers. His grandparents worked on their farm in Luisburgo, Matas de Minas carrying out other activities, like pressing sugarcane and growing wheat. His father continued the farm, where growing coffee first aroused his interest and he planted his first coffee seeds. Reinaldo and his siblings helped their father with all the work on the farm.

Several years later, Reinaldo moved to the city to study administration, worked as a businessman, and married. Still, his passion for the countryside remained. A few years after his father invited him to take over the property, Reinaldo returned to the farm with his family.

Reinaldo’s interest in specialty coffees comes from his time working for a specialty coffee company, where he learned to cup. Back on his family’s land, he looked for further information and made investments in the property and in hiring trained workers.

As family farmers, Reinaldo and his family dedicate their days to the pursuit of good results, with the objective of taking the quality of their coffees to the consumer’s table.
