The average annual temperature of Western Bahia ranges between 22 and 26 °C, with no risk of neither frost nor plantation development interruptions because of small temperature variation. The average rainfall is about 1,600 mm dispersed between October and April at an average altitude of 800 meters. The region has established itself as one of the most modern in the world in terms of coffee agriculture while promoting social and environmental standards.
